Merry Christmas

For all those we couldn't send Christmas cards to, Hope you have a merry Christmas and happy new year. WE couldn't be better here. Brynn is now 8mo. old and I swear she weight at least 22-23lbs. Over Thanksgiving she was 20lbs. My arm throbs after holding her for a while, and I can't really carry her in her carseat anymore b/c my back begins to hurt and she's just too darn heavy. But I am just thankful she is healthy and happy. she loves sitting in the shopping cart helping her mom with the shopping. She hasn't figured out how to crawl yet, so she gets around by rolling all over. She loves her daddy and gets so excited when he comes home from work.

Tom's doing great with work. He enjoys what he's doing but often tells me "I think I'll be ready to move on from medicaide come next August" We haven't been too concerned with looking for a practice yet. Mainly b/c we are not sure where we want to end up permenantly.

I will be starting work on January 5 on a surgical floor of the hospital. I'll only be working 2 days out of the week. one evening and one night, so Brynn will only be at the babysitters for 2hrs until Tom can pick her up. But we are enjoying it here in Montana, we just wish it would warm up enough to melt the ice off our cars and off the inside of our apt. windows. YES it's that cold! But we are enjoying it here and liking being closer to family.

New Carseat

WE had to get her a new carseat becuase she is just so big. Her infant carseat just doesn't work for her anymore. She hates going in it. The belts go behind her shoulders, but I think that's b/c we have that JJ Cole blanket thing in it. I just wish she would fit in her old car seat a little longer b/c that means my little girl is growing up----Too fast! But I stuck her in her new one and she loved it. I think she likes sitting up and being able to actually see things instead of a black seat and tinted sky in our car.

I would have many more pics. to post but unfortunatley we lost our camera with all of the pics. from months ago with Brynn on it at my mom's house, or somewhere, over the Thanksgiving break. So if your wondering why I havent done any posts since then, its b/c I havent gotten any pcis. Fortunatley we have our old camera that I gave Tom a couple years back, so we at least have a camera. Hopefully we'll be able to find it when we go home for the holidays.

Christmas tree lightup

Here in Great Falls they have a Christmas tree lightup downtown. Nothing compared to Pgh. light up night. I dont think many things here can compare to what it was like in the 'burgh. We miss a lot of things there. But anyway, we decided to go and bring Brynn. My mom gave us a snow outfit my oldest sister wore when she was a baby and thought she was just too darn cute not to take some pics. She looked like a little eskimo. Plus she BARELY fit in it. She is just so long it's funny. We had a good time, but it was Cold! But we all had a good time.

Random

Just some random pictures of Brynn up here in Montana. I had so many of them that I didn't want it to be such a long post with pics. So instead of scrolling forever, slide shows are much more convenient.

Brynn is about 6mo. some 5mo. pics. that are scattered. She's just too cute that I couldn't decide what ones I really wanted to post. So there are a lot of her.We recently started feeding her baby cereal (about 5.5 mo.) and her facial reactions at first were so funny. she had this disgusted look, but then grunted for more. Hilarious!

We've also gone on some stroller rides around the neighborhood and she absolutley loves it. It's just unfortunate that it's getting colder here, so it makes it more difficult to keep her occupied and happy when we can't get outside. I've also come to find out that she cannot get her hands on enough things to chew on. Not that I didn't know babies chew on everything, but me being an overprotective mother, it's hard to let her get anything that I don't know where it's been. She also has come to love her jumper. Whenever she's getting fussy, or just can't seem to soothe her, she usually ends up bouncing for a while

So Cute!

Sunday I decided to put her in this adorable dress my mom gave me. Mind you this is a 12mo. dress. Yes she's already in that size because of her length. She's in the 97% for height and 90% for weight (18# 11oz) A health girl! But she's growing up too fast! She looked so cute in this dress we had to take a couple pictures when we got home. She loved the fact that it was velvet on the top part, so she really enjoyed chewing on that. What a cutie!

Havin' Fun

So alot has gone on since our last blog. WE are finally in Montana now. We've been here for about a month and are really enjoying it here. Our ward is great. THe majority are air force, so it's a bit like dental school. It's starting to get cold and we aren't doing a lot out doors anymore. Which stinks because Brynn really likes her stroller rides. We are living in a 2 bedroom apt., which is nice except for our noisy neighbors above us. You hear everything! But it is bigger than our house in Pgh., and its a locked building so thats nice.
Her first tooth! She cut it about 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure if you can make it out. But its there and it's sharp!

YUMMY

These are especially for Michele--She hasn't quite got her land legs yet (HA, HA):)
This was too cute. Today she was in her new swing which came with toys. Now that she can hold onto things better she LOVES sucking, chewing, slobbering on anything she can. She's not quite teething yet. But she was so funny to watch! very Yummy

!

Sweet baby sling; Playing with daddy

Over labor day weekend my family always go to Park City where they have this HUGE craft show (very fun). There's all different kinds of booths from woodmaking to jewlery. And I foud a booth that had these really neat baby slings. I loved it, maybe it was more of an impulse buy I don't know, But I really wanted one. She doesn't care for the front position b/c her guts are smashed and she's panting to breath, but she does ok with the side saddle position.

Tom's really having ahard time being away from the baby and me during the week (me too)he only comes home on the weekends, Yes we still are waiting for our apartment to be finished. Hopefully by the 15th

Daddy after giving Brynn a bath

Rolling over--almost

Brynn was under they playgym and was having a blast. She was lifting her feet in the air and kicking, playing with the different things that hand down. that's the most she's been interactive with that since we've gotten here. Before she would just stare at the different objects. And just this morning I caught her rolling to her side. I was so excited! Yea! It's so fun to watch them grow.

Playin' Singstar

Whitney and I were playing this kareoke game on Matt's playstation while they were here from Iowa. It's kinda like guitar hero. Anyway it was fun and we had a blast

Brad and Brynn

Bye Kelly

Tom's brother was leaving for his mission from Pocatello and we had to get some memories. By the time he's back from Sao Palo Brynn will have a new brother or sis. Good luck Kelly!

random pics---LAST POST, PROMISE!

Brynn had this adorable outfit on the other day and I thought it was too cut to not put a bow in her hair and snap a couple of pictures.

Lovin' the water.

I was giving Brynn a bath the other night and decided to record her. She LOVES HER BATH! She wouldn't stop splashing. Water was getting everywhere, but who cares. She was too fun to watch!

Her first laugh

This was so hilarious I had to post it. My mom was talking to Brynn and she started to laugh. It was so cute and adorable I just had to record it. One of her firsts. She also has discovered her tongue. she keeps poking it in and out. It's too cute.

Lake Powell

Lake Powell was SOOO much fun! Here are some of the fun times we had. Brynn was such a good baby I cannot even describe. The last day we were there we had run out of formula the night before. The store closest to us didn't carry any, and they said the closet one was about 1hr. away. So we said our prayers and put into Heavenly Fathers hands. I had pumped what I could earlier that morning and just prayed that she would be ok beofore we got more formula for her. She ate what I could give her and then slept all morning long. We made it to the mini store, purchased the formula and you know the rest. It may seem corny, but what a blessing and how strong the power of prayer really is.
Hangin' out in her bouncer. it was just too hot to hold her

My mom bought her this adorable swim gear for her. she looked so cute. Granted she wasn't in it that long, only to take a picture. she was getting fussy becuase it was too hot in it.

I had to say that she had been to Lake Powell, and was also in the water. She stayed on the boat the majority of the time. I was too worried to have her out in the sun becuase she was too little. but she didn't know what to think of the water. She was a bit apprehensive about having her feet in

Hole in the wall. This is where the pioneers had to disemble their wagons to cross. It was just too jagged and dangerous. There's a plaque at the top that describes the significance of the rock. Mother nature is just amazing. I can't describe the beauty and awe I felt during our time in Lake Powell.

Some of the boys--Marc, Steven, Josh and Jake. Tom wasn't able to come have tons of fun. He was back in Pgh. fixing up the house with his dad.

This wasn't part of our trip, but I thought it was too cute not to post. This is back home in American Falls. My mom has this really old swing--you actually have to wind it up to get it to work its that old. But she loves it! We don't have a swing yet, and she was being really cranky one day and my mom dug it out. She loved it so much and fell asleep in it.

FINALLY!

Well I was able to get to a computor -- thanks Matt--my parents' is still down. And I really wanted to let everyone see how much she's changed since she was just 1month old. i just cant beleive that it's been this long since I've posted some pics. This first one is of her sleeping in our dresser drawer back in Pgh. We didn't have another window unit to put in her bedroom, so she slept with us. So Cute!

Her aunt Aimee has 6 boys (no girls), and was dying to paint her toes. Thankfully she was asleep so it made it easier to paint. And yes, they matched her mom's toes too.
